Nana (pronounced nah-nah) is a fictional character, a little girl who loves to cook and hang out with all of her friends. She loves to sing and dance and play pretend! She's the star of our children's books series.

Nana's books focus on her cooking adventures as she learns about and cooks dishes from diverse cultures around the world. The books also include the native language from the places that Nana explores. They often incorporate elements of curiosity, friendship, perseverance, bravery, and kindness. The books are generally aimed at toddlers and early readers, roughly ages 3-8, but the themes of food and culture can appeal to a wider range.  

Yes! A key feature of the Nana series is that each book includes a recipe inspired by the cultures Nana explores. We welcome readers to try cooking these dishes with their kids and family!
